In 2005, Nike SB enlisted Nick Tershay, aka Nicky Diamonds, of Diamond Supply Co., to be part of the "Team Manager" series – alongside Stüssy, Real Skateboards, Alien Workshop and Hunter Muraira.
Diamond Supply had already made its name as a leading skate and lifestyle brand, and in 2005, Tershay was asked to design an SB Dunk Low. The result: an iconic pair that some regard as the most beautiful Nike SB Dunk Lows of all time.
In 2018, Nike released three additional iterations of the Nike Dunk Low with Diamond Supply Co. Produced in limited quantities and originally intended to be a ComplexCon exclusive, the Canary Yellow Diamond Dunk pays homage to the original Diamond Dunk release. Featuring a predominantly Tour Yellow upper, the pair is finished with tonal croc-textured overlays reminiscent of the original 2005 Dunk.
The shoes also feature a removable metallic silver Swoosh, which reveals a Velcro Swoosh in a ‘Tiffany’ blue. Additional details include 'Diamond' embroidery on the underside of the heel tab.
