Replacing the Aurelia in 1957, the Flaminia became Lancia’s new flagship model, and was available as a convertible, coupé, or saloon, with bodies courtesy of Pinin Farina, Touring, and Zagato. The Zagato Sport was a coupé version of the Flaminia and featured an aluminium body. Just 344 examples were built by the carrozzeria, representing a tiny fraction of the 12,633 Flaminias sold.

This example was manufactured on 29 May 1962 and assigned to Zagato to be bodied as a Sport. It was painted in Argento Auteuil over a Pelle Rossa upholstery and was equipped with a 138-horsepower 2.5-litre V-6 engine. Delivered new to France, it was first registered on 8 June 1962. The car changed hands in 1969, and was acquired by the third owner, who retained the car for nearly four decades, in February 1977.

After being purchased by the consignor in 2014, the Lancia underwent a complete restoration. Photographs of the extensive work can be found on file, while the car is accompanied by a restoration book, as well as a Lancia Classiche Certificate of Origin. Chassis “3302” presents a wonderful opportunity to acquire a rare Zagato-bodied Lancia Flaminia coupé. With its factory correct colour scheme, and matching numbers engine and differential, it is a highly appealing Italian sportscar with true collector quality.

C'est après avoir été achetée en 2014 par son actuel propriétaire qu'elle a fait l'objet d'une restauration complète. Des photos des importants travaux sont disponibles dans le dossier de la voiture, qui est accompagnée d'un livre de restauration ainsi que d'un Certificat d'Origine de Lancia Classiche. Ce châssis "3302" représente une merveilleuse opportunité d'acquérir un rare coupé Lancia Flaminia carrossé par Zagato. Avec ses couleurs d'origine correctes, ainsi que son moteur et son différentiel d'origine, cette voiture de sport italienne est extrêmement attrayante et offre les qualités d'une vraie pièce de collection.
