Aston Martin catapulted the DBS into the public spotlight with its starring roles in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, actor Daniel Craig’s first two outings as James Bond. Sleek and commanding, the DBS delivered supercar-level performance wrapped in sculpted, handcrafted bodywork. At its core, a 6.0-liter V12 engine produced 510 horsepower—perfectly suited for a spirited Sunday drive or a trans-continental dash.

Fewer than half of DBS models are understood to have left the factory with the coveted six-speed manual transmission. Of those, an even smaller number featured the rare “2+0” seating configuration, which removed the rear seats to reduce weight and enhance the driving experience—making them true driver-focused coupes.

This U.S.-market DBS is one of those rare six-speed, 2+0 cars. Setting the coupe further apart is its bespoke specification, commissioned by collector Michael Fux, known for his eccentric one-of-one customizations.

Under Fux’s direction, Aston Martin finished this DBS in California Sage paint over a bespoke interior trimmed in Absynthe Green leather with matching Alcantara inserts, and Absynthe Green stitching. The Alcantara headliner also matches the cabin’s distinctive color palette, creating a cohesive, luxurious environment. Fux further selected a suite of high-end options, including personalized door sills, a 700-watt premium audio system, carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon fiber door pulls, and optional 20-inch graphite-finished forged alloy wheels.

Before final delivery, Miller Motorcars in Connecticut is said to have carried out another round of customization to meet Fux’s exacting standards, disassembling and repainting the brake calipers in California Sage, refinishing the center console, shifter, ashtray trim, and air-conditioning bezels with carbon fiber veneers, and installing Absynthe Green Wilton carpets. Every modification appears to be executed with factory-level precision, resulting in a seamless, high-quality presentation throughout.

Showing fewer than 9,000 miles at cataloguing time, this thoroughly unique DBS offers a compelling alternative to other late-model V-12 supercars with manual transmissions, such as the Ferrari 599 GTB and Lamborghini Murciélago LP640. With its rarity, bespoke details, and factory manual gearbox with 2+0 configuration, it delivers exceptional and enduring appeal.
