'The Blue Riband of English Motor Racing - The Story of the International Tourist Trophy Race' 21 June 1922, published by Bentley Motors Ltd. The race was won by Chassagne driving a Sunbeam with Clement 2nd, W.O.B. 4th & Bentley driver Hawkes, 5th. Bentley Motors won the team prize. W.O. remarked, “We issued a rather splendid brochure afterwards, full of photographs and impressive statistics to show potential customers that in a 3-Litre they had a car that… could compete on equal terms with the fastest stripped racing cars of the day.” W.O.
