Engraved ‘SOUVENIR LONDON EDINBURGH RUN MAY 1909 H.M. BENTLEY’ (Horace Milner) the co-founder of Bentley & Bentley. H.M., like his brother W.O., rode a Quadrant motorcycle and competed in numerous

motorcycling events at this time, including the London-Edinburgh Trial.

H.M and W.O. Bentley acquired the concession rights for the DFP and founded Bentley and Bentley in 1912, the origins of Bentley Motors.
