"Prudence" by Sasportas. a very rare squatting monkey mascot, early 1920s. Designed by one of the leading sculptors of the day the facial expression and stance of the animal are well observed. Offered as a limited edition (26/100) by Auto Omnia magazine, the scripted name of the French magazine, limited edition numbers and sculptor's name are engraved in the circular base.

A seated monkey with his legs pushed forward by Jean Joire. Good fur detail and design, brass with original nickel plating. Mounted on a Renault radiator cap.
