This bronze sculpture vividly depicts the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR that won the 1955 Mille Miglia driven by Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson. This is the second bronze created for J. Paul Nesse’s series of “The European Champions.” Nesse noted that his “goal in creating this piece goes beyond simply ‘seeing’ Moss at ten-tenths, indeed it is to literally feel that glorious, ragged edge!”
