Conceived to comply with homologation rules for competition, the 911 GT3 RS debuted in 2003 as the type-996 generation of the 911 neared the end of its production run. In 2011, it was exported from Germany to Switzerland by the previous owner and was subsequently acquired by the consignor in January 2015. Juni 2010 fertiggestellt. 2011 wurde er vom vorigen Besitzer aus Deutschland in die Schweiz importiert, wo ihn anschließend der Einlieferer im Januar 2015 erwarb. Seitdem ließ es der Besitzer für dieses Auto in der Carrera Collection an nichts fehlen.
