Ferrari’s 328 platform cuts an attractive shape with the form of its Pininfarina-designed body—influenced heavily by research into drag coefficient and aerodynamic lift characteristics—all the while staying true to marque’s design language. Elements of the 1960s-designed Dino-badged cars are evident in the stylish visual appearance and curves of the 328 GTS, which entered production in 1985. Available with the option of a “targa”-style removable top, the 328 GTS—standing for “Gran Turismo Spider”—was powered by a 3.2-litre V-8 engine fitted to a five-speed gated manual gearbox.

This example was manufactured in 1987 and is presented in Rosso Corsa over a Crema leather interior. The black vinyl roof can be removed for an exciting open-top driving experience. Acquired by Monsieur Petitjean in 1988, the Ferrari allegedly showed around 10,000 km when bought from its supplying German dealership, at which point their workshop also lowered the suspension for a sportier look. This Ferrari shows 32,470 km on its odometer at the time of cataloguing, which is believed to be original. The car is presented with its service book, user manual and pouch, as well as a jack, tool rool, and vinyl roof cover.
