PAYMENT OPTIONS

ADDITIONAL FEES TO BE CONSIDERED

Buyer’s Premium
In addition to the final bid amount, a buyer’s premium is due on each lot purchased:

Cars:
15% (+20% VAT) on a hammer price up to and including £200,000
12.5% (+20% VAT) on the portion of the hammer price exceeding £200,000

Non-motor car lots, including but not limited to memorabilia, motorcycles, boats, trailers, automobile parts, and clothing:
20% (+20% VAT) on the total hammer price

Please note that for margin scheme lots, VAT on the buyer’s premium is non-reclaimable unless the lot is being exported straight away with a trusted logistics partner.

Taxes/Import Duties
Buyers are responsible for any applicable duty and/or local taxes on any lots purchased. International bidders are advised to inform themselves of potential import duties that would be due upon the arrival of the lot at its final destination. An administrative fee of up to £1,000 + VAT will be applicable to oversee the customs entry also. You are advised to speak with your local representatives in advance of the sale to understand what these costs may be.

LOT REMOVAL/SHIPPING

All lots will be removed to secure storage immediately following the sale at a cost of up to £1,000 + VAT per lot to be charged to the buyer. Daily storage fees will commence from Tuesday, 14 July, at a rate of up to £50 + VAT per lot.

RMS strongly advises buyers to make immediate arrangements for the collection and transport of purchased lot(s). It is the buyer’s responsibility to make their own arrangements, but RMS is pleased to offer our clients the services of the following company:
